Driven in Malaysia – Toyota Avanza 1.5 (2012)

Honestly, I’m not a fan of its exterior, the design just doesn’t seem to be following any trend, let alone in vogue. Its sculpture certainly is trying to resemble a sense of solidity and wildness; however it tries too hard which makes it look a bit obnoxious.

This latest Saga looks almost identical with its 08’s ancestor except it looks sharper, bossier, and angrier than before. Since it’s a FLX version, it’s the most expensive and has the highest specification of its own kind.     Read more »

Proton Exora 1.6 Bold Premium

In my point of view, a car which is cheap and cheerful shouldn’t be annoying from the first glance; it should show good specification on paper and inexpensive comparing with others. When a family guy who is going for a massive yet cheap and cheerful transportation, he should have a look at Exora. Unlike Toyota Innova, Exora does not have any pleasant appearance which shows a warm and welcoming presence, but rather showing a bossy and fierce look which looks more like an angry lion. Perodua Myvi 1.3

Comparing with its predecessor, Myvi’s body is certainly beefed-up, it may claim to be more aerodynamic or sporty, but it still looks bulbous and insignificant to me. Read more »

Driven in Malaysia – Ford Mondeo 2.0

Ford Mondeo reminds me of its appearance in James Bond film series “Casino Royale” from 2006; it appears in the scene when Bond is driving his way from the airport to Dimitrios’ house in Bahamas, it’s finished in striking Tonic blue and coupled with sporty bodykits, when the car hits the road under the harmonious sunshine, it still looks eerily cool and refreshing. Perhaps Mondeo is Bond’s second choice when he’s not with an Aston Martin? Or it’s just simply the best car for Bond to keep a low profile? Read more »
